You know, we all suffer from self-esteem issues and we all think about ways that we can improve on our bodies. So this young lady is not alone. I am not going to demonize her or shame her for making a personal choice in her life.

Cosmetic surgery is not always about the reality of a situation. Cosmetic surgery is about what you personally see in the mirror when you look. It’s about your own observations and whether you find contentment with what you see. We can look at a beautiful young lady or gorgeous young man any time we want to and say they are absolutely perfect. But if they do not feel that way about themselves, then your words are falling on deaf ears.

She wanted this surgery and I am assuming that she knew the risks. Granted I have to admit I would not think that getting a tummy tuck could kill you. What caused her heart to stop at this time I do not know. But honestly even knowing the risks sometimes we still make decisions that we feel are best for us.

We have to find a way to learn and accept our bodies for what they are. I’m not saying that it’s wrong to improve upon things. That’s not what I’m saying and no adult has to be held accountable for the choices that they make with their own bodies but sometimes we have to choose our battles wisely. Especially when it comes to her physical image. So much of us is going to change anyway so there really is no need to invest a lot of money into giving yourself the perfect body.

I know when so many other people recommend this procedure to you and yet your child goes in it has his procedure and they don’t make it out alive, that has got to hurt.

Maria Christian, 32, had the surgery done at Vanity Cosmetic Surgery in Westchester, NBC Miami reported. The Miami-Dade Police Department investigated the clinic’s facilities and surgical rooms and did not find any violations.

Doctors at the business said Christian was in good health before the operation and that she had previously undergone two cosmetic procedures at the clinic. In January, doctors performed a Brazilian butt-lift.

Dr. Camille Chavez performed the surgery.

“They were trying to tell her, ‘Just do it with her, she’s really good, she’s really good, and you’re going to be fine,'” Christian’s sister, Carolina Flor, told NBC Miami.

Officials are investigating the cause of Christian’s death.

“We don’t know what happened. The doctors just said that her heart stopped,” Flor told the news channel. “If there is no need to do something, just, there’s no reason, because she was just beautiful the way she was.”

In January, the Consumer Protection Division of the Florida Attorney General’s Office investigated  Vanity Cosmetic Surgery’s refund procedures.

In a statement, the clinic expressed its “deepest condolences” to the family
